Kharkiv National Municipal Academy - a modern public institution of higher education in Ukraine, the highest level of accreditation, which trains about 16,000 students, of which more than 500 - foreign nationals from 42 countries worldwide. In 2012, the Academy will celebrate 90 years.
The Academy trains for the municipal government, construction, transport, electricity, water, gas facilities, urban ecology, hospitality and tourism, improving the environmental cleanliness of cities and towns. Training is conducted in 24 specialties and 30 specializations. The term of study at the bachelor's degree is 4 - 4.5 years, and a Master's degree - 1.5 years, depending on the chosen specialty.
Significantly modified training program to enhance fundamental training, development of computer science students, fluency in foreign languages, study of special subjects of your choice, learning to research.
In the presence of a master's degree who wish can continue their education in graduate school for 27 professions - training period of 3 years. Preparation of the teaching staff is a postgraduate and doctoral studies.

Our Academy - a major research center in the urban economy. The creative activity of our team of scientists focused on the development of modern methods of design, construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures, the creation of efficient building designs and materials, the improvement of public utilities, environmental protection, clean water and sewage, addressing issues of urban transport.

The total area of buildings of the Academy exceeds 160 thousand m2, including 7 academic buildings, 2 college (housing and public utilities and electromechanical).

Improving the base of the Academy consists of a student's sanatorium and a large sports complex with spacious sports and fitness centers. In KSAME has 8 student dormitories comfortable with the total number of seats - 2080. Place in a dormitory primarily provided by non-resident undergraduate and graduate students studying full-time education.
